At the branch of the The Recording Academy's called GRAMMY U, I directed a statewide team of roughly 15 (and growing) ambassadors to create events, manage membership, and design opportunities for our GRAMMY U "student" and "voting" members. In helping manage one of the 12 national chapters for the Academy (our chapter based in Austin, Texas), I collaborated with industry professionals, celebrities, and major artists to organize events for students to learn and network from the most talented people in the music industry (including artists, songwriters, lawyers, producers, managers, etc.). I also got the incredible opportunity to represent The Recording Academy at events anywhere from local shows with popular artists to high-profile, international events such as The GRAMMY Awards in Los Angeles.
