KARAN MAHENDROO
Karan is a San Francisco based Creative with an obsession for pop culture. Karan has worked with his clients on a variety of projects including digital marketing, event strategy, artist management, social media strategy, branding/design, influencer partnerships, and many other creative projects across the board. This website is meant to serve as an introduction / a digital portfolio for a few of these projects.
Karan is currently working as a Digital Strategy Lead at Google – notably on the unique “Accelerated Growth Team.” This team is Google's higher-touch incubator program for fast-growing accounts wanting to scale up their investment in Google through this “accelerator.” This team of senior consultants hand-selects a few high potential clients to join the program, offering in-depth product knowledge, access to exclusive betas, and a “white glove service” of support. Due to the success of the Accelerated Growth program, this team has over doubled in size every year since its inception and now serves as the “premier model” for Google’s other consulting teams to emulate.

“Karan is as capable as any of the honors students with numbers, but he is so much more. He has a gut level understanding of branding—have you noticed his glasses? He is the pied piper of social media (Smart Social Summit, SXSW, New York Fashion Week) and generous with his time and energy (O4U, Business Honors Program Recruiting). Most of all, Karan is very vividly himself—an example for his classmates who may be overly concerned with “fitting in”.
